In the past couple of years ProShop has become one of the mmost exciting UK hand built guitars- using the Vintage range as the building blocks to create wonderful and exciting guitars that would normally cost thousands of pounds.Im Februar 2013 fand der Umzug in unsere neuen Räumlichkeiten statt. Nach fast 30 Jahren, unter dem Dach der Oldenburger Music-Station mit sehr beengten Platzverhältnissen, haben wir nun auf über 250qm Platz genug für die Ausstellung unsere Schätzchen, für eine Museumsecke, einen Repairshop, Testraum, Testbühne und Büro.
Wir blieben also am gleichen Standort und im gleichen Gebäude, sind jetzt aber im Vorderhaus zur Strassenseite zu finden. Parkplätze stehen direkt vor der Tür zur Verfügung. Unser Geschäft befindet sich direkt an der AB-Abfahrt Oldenburg-Nadorst (stadtauswärts 100m rechts).

Im ''Vintage-Heaven'' finden VIdeo- und Audioaufnahmen statt und zu den Öffnungszeiten von '''' könnt ihr hier ganz in Ruhe oder auf voller Lautstärke Gitarren und Amps checken. Eine feine Auswahl an Amps steht zur Verfügung und falls die Band dabei ist, sind selbst Schlagzeug und Club-PA vorhanden. Aus Sicherheitsgründen lagern nicht alle Instrumente in den Geschäftsräumen. Falls also sehr teure Instrumente gescheckt werden sollen, bitte ein paar Tage vorher Bescheid geben, dann ziehen wir zum Testen auch noch neue Saiten auf. Bei Versand besteht die Möglichkeit, zu Hause zu testen und bei Nichtgefallen das Instrument zurück zu senden. Einige sehr teure Instrumente bleiben beim Besitzer und werden nur in Ausnahmefällen verschickt. Hier muß ein Treffen bei uns im Geschäft oder beim Eigentümer vereinbart werden.
Vintage-Gitarren sind nicht nur bei Musikern sehr beliebt sondern auch als Geldanlage seit langem äußerst attraktiv geworden. Als vor einigen Jahren amerikanische Brokermagazine das Investieren in alte Gitarren als eine der weltbesten und sichersten Anlagen empfohlen hatten, stiegen die Preise für gefragte Modelle innerhalb von 2 Jahren um 50% bis 100% an. Das in den USA erscheinende ' Magazin' gibt einmal im Jahr den 'Official Vintage Guitar Magazine Price Guide' heraus. Er basiert auf gemeldete Verkäufe von ca. 25 Vintage-Gitarren Händlern aus den USA und bildet eine anerkannte Richtschnur für fast alle auf dem Markt befindlichen Gitarren, Bässe und Amps von ca. 1900 bis heute.
