My son has been playing since he was 3. All of his violins until now have been the general basic ones. Right before his 10th birthday he had the first in person recital. Right when he got up to play his E string snapped. Luckily one of his classmates let him use her violin. He played and sounded the best he ever has. Afterward he said he could hear the difference in the quality of her violin. Ironically he needed to move up to a 3/4 size. So he went on a deep dive on Amazon sending my wife and I his choices. I ordered hoping it would come in time for his birthday and it did. It sounds great and came with all the quality accessories I usually have to order afterwards. Lovely violin We purchased this violin for my (then) 7year old daughter. This nice quality violin has been great as she has worked through 2 years of lessons on this instrument. From the beginning her instructor was impressed by the quality of the violin, and we thought the case and multiple accessories were great!
