Fender

This upgraded version of Fender's Acoustasonic Junior, the world's most popular acoustic amp, is a portable, well built, easy-to-use combo amp designed for natural electric-acoustic guitar sounds as well as vocals. New features include handcrafted onboard digital effects and an XLR line output (with level control & ground lift). The Acoustasonic Junior's two 40-watt power sections drive a pair of 8 in. low-frequency drivers and a tweeter. Separate Instrument and phantom-powered XLR Mic channels each contain individual EQ and Phase switches for feedback reduction, and FX. Fender's String Dynamics(TM) control tames harsh treble notes on the instrument channel, and Feedback Notch control removes most feedback problems. Fender tilt-back legs aim the sound where it's needed.

I swapped a vintage Marshall SS head and Marshall bin for my amplifier with my friend. I had moved away from using acoustic guitars so i put my Fender black top strat through it and the amplifier has been my go to amp ever since. After playing around with the different effects I found my sweet spot which was the Chorus + delay effect. My volume has never gone over 5. I play in a small church hall so there was no need for any extreme volumes from the amp. Its a versatile piece of kit, plug in your guitar and mic, do a sound check and you are in business. So I found this amp by luck and chance and its all I use now. I have owned Marshalls, Peaveys, Voxs and other Fender amps over the years but the Acoustasonic Junior DSP stands out the best for my musical needs. Yes I know the amp was designed for acoustic electric guitar and not electric guitars as such but it all depends how the gear is used. I have even put a Morley Bad Horsie Wah pedal through it using the amps chorus delay effect. Crazy maybe but I like it. No rules in music. I have also put my Boss Dr Rhythm DR 880 through it using only the chorus effect on the amp. I just adjust my treble mids and bass for the DR 880 and I adjust my tone on my guitar. I've owned and used my amp now for a good four years. I live in New Zealand and these amps are not easy to replace or find. The only bits that I have replaced are four skirted amplifier knobs which were missing when I got my amp. My serial number is #M1520491 made in January… read more 2005 in Mexico. Why waste money on effects pedals when all you have to do is plug and play with this amp. Not every musician is going to have the same gear as you do so there's your point of difference. I love my amp, its simple to use, easy to set up. Its not for everyone and it doesn't matter what amp you own or have owned, there will always be people who can't be pleased. music world has changed so much over the years in terms of equipment and gear that its hard to keep up. I think simple is good. Simple is easy. I like to use just whats on my amp and guitar for the sound I want. The Fender Acoustasonis Junior DSP is a killer amp with heaps of potential. Is it under rated? I think so Manufacturer Support The only product I have bought from Fender are four skirted amplifier knobs. The product was easy to source and I was happy with the service. Musical Background: I have been playing guitar since 1989. I own a Fender Black Top strat and Squire vintage deluxe tele. I play in a church band Musical Style: My music style is Christian but I like playing blues and rock read less
