Personally, I was pretty pleased with myself for getting to hard mode when I was playing Rock Band, but for some music game enthusiasts that simply isn't enough - they also need to defy the laws of physics. Earlier this week, one of the very hardest user-made tracks in the Guitar Hero community was beaten by streamer CarnyJared, and the video of it really is

Soulless 6 is a user-created track made by community member ExileLord, who's known for his series of infamously difficult tracks. (ExileLord is also a programmer for Clone Hero, a community clone of Guitar Hero that allows for user-made tracks.) This particular track was apparently too hard to be Soulless 4 or 5, and was instead published as an April Fools' joke in 2011. From this players dubbed the track Soulless 6, and it essentially became a meme within the Guitar Hero community.

Some tracks in the series like Soulless 4 and Soulless 5 have been beaten over the last few years, but nobody had managed a 100 per cent full combo on Soulless 6. Streamers had completed tech FCs of Soulless 6 - playing the song as a series of sections - but not the entire thing all at once. Well, here's CarnyJared doing it for the first time in Clone Hero:

Obviously there's some pretty fast fingerwork going on here, but CarnyJared is also using special techniques such as ghosting to hit all these notes. Ghosting, according to Full Combo, is a term for hitting more frets than required in order to hit certain patterns at speed. And according to ExileLord, completing this song would be twice as difficult in Guitar Hero 3, as the timing window of notes in Guitar Hero 3 effectively gets cut in half as they get extremely close together, something that doesn't happen in Clone Hero.

As you can see from CarnyJared's incredible reaction in his video, he seems pretty damn happy about his achievement - and understandably so. Even watching as a spectator made my head spin... I think I'm going for a lie-down.The goal of the game is to play the guitar of song, you need to hit the notes that appear on the track. The game has 2 styles: Ony Tap and Tap and Strum. For each style there are 4 different levels of difficulty: Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert..

Only Tap: You should press the 5 notes possible, in the exact time, as the animation below. It's the style of game recommended for who is beginning or don't have previous experience in games this type.

Tap and Strum: This is the advanced style, recommended for those already know how to play. The difference is that you must strum the notes.

Easy: There are 5 kind of notes, but in this difficulty you should use only 3 (green, red and yellow). Another characteristic is that the notes come down slowly, so who has difficulty to play will have enough time to see the notes and try to hit them. Even so it's challenging for who is beginning.

Medium: This level has 1 note more (blue) increasing the difficulty. The notes in this level come down faster than easy. It's the recommended level for who is beginning but don't have any difficulty to play in level easy.

Hard: In this level the things start to get a little different. All 5 notes are used, the speed is higher and you need to be agile to not fail. This level is recommended for those with experience in this kind of game.

Expert: It has the same characteristics as hard with one difference... more notes! You need to be very fast and some songs require very agility. This level is for who wants to show that can be the best player of Guitar Flash.

To win in the game you can't have many wrongs, or you will see a screen telling that you failed! To know how you're doing in the game just look for the Energy Bar. It has a white line that indicates where exactly you are.

Special Bar: Each sequence of star notes you hit, the special bar will fill another 1/4 of itself. The Special Bar will fill completely when you to get 4 times this kind of sequence.

If you take a single star note while blue, you can't get that sequence of star notes and your special bar can't fill more. This means that players should study when it's the best time to use the special e this way to make more points.
