An Irish country music song. Written by Derek. God's Plan is by far the most popular of all his songs on this site. It's also one of my favourite's. It was also recorded by Daniel O'Donnell, Lisa McHugh, and by singer Owen Mac. The sheet music is included in the key of F#m, which is the same as the way Derek plays it. Below are the tin whistle notes to God's Plan. It doesn't use the same notes as the sheet music above which is in the key of F#m and wouldn't be suitable for the whistle. The whistle notes below are in the key of D. So all the f and c notes are sharp. This song goes very high on the whistle and my advise is to use some blu-tack to half cover the sound hole to make the sound quieter. If your not used to the way I use letter notes then I'll explain, all the low letter notes up to the B are in CAPITAL letters, all the notes past the B are the high one's and are in lower case letters.
