In search of different sounds, I wanted to install a pickup on my 30 yr old classical guitar. This one seemed to be the most interesting one (and worth taking the risk of ruining the guitar). To cut the story short, I am happy with the result. I recommend it to anyone who has basic luthier skills or who has a luthier buddy. I had to get rid of some buzzing (caused by cables), and I replaced the supplied bridge with a bone bridge which I cut halfway in between string positions.. Right now I am trying to find a good use for the stereo sound...

Mit dem Originalsteg erreichte ich nicht die schöne Saitentrennung, die in den Klangbeispielen von Shadow demonstriert wird. Warum weiß ich nicht, schließlich teilte ich den Steg (was sehr einfach geht), habe nun 6 einzelne Ministege in der Nut und bin klanglich einigermaßen dort wo der Pickup sein will.
Der Pickup hat empfindliche Zonen. Man kann bzw. muss die Empfindlichkeit für jede Saite einstellen. Dann wird gemischt, über die ganze Breite bis Mono. Wenn man schon 6 Einsteller hat, hätte ich mir auch 6 Ausgänge dafür gewünscht. Nichts Großartiges, simple Puffer und eine Steckverbindung, mit der Interessierte etwas anfangen könnten.

Préampli monté sur une életroacoustique sans caisse de chez Fishemann's Instruments. L'électronique d'excellente qualité justifie pleinement le prix. Le capteur hexaphonique permet d'équilibrer facilement le volume de chaque corde grâce à un petit tournevis. Les équalisations sont musicales et l'accordeur précis. Le vrai plus de ce système est évidemment la stéréophonie dont on peut régler l'intensité. A zéro, on est en mono. A 10, les cordes sont panoramisées de gauche à droite avec la 1ère complètement à gauche et la sixième complètement à droite (ou le contraire!).
Avec une légère stéréophonie et une bonne réverb qui permet de lier tout ça, c'est bluffant! A essayer absolrument si vous jouez en formation réduite, ou en studio.
Il faut bien sur utiliser un cable de type cable d'insert si vous voulez bénéficier de la stéréophonie, mais ça marche aussi avec un jack mono, auquel cas vous aurez un son mono comme n'importe quelle guitare branchée sur un ampli mono.

Attention à l'installation car le capteur paraît fragile (6 capteurs indépendants et 7 conducteurs). Le seul défaut que je lui trouve est la petitesse des potards, mais il faut bien arriver tout rentrer dans l'espace dédié. Le plastique fait assez plastique! A noter qu'il fonctionne avec 2 piles AAA.
Si lo instalaste correctamente como viene el manual puede que aun así tengas problemas, todo debe de ser a la perfección y la pastilla se puede lastimar si queda colgante. Se debe utilizar material adesivo para que quede totalmente fija sin moverse (en caso de la nanoflex) y se puede dañar de manera muy fácil si no se instala correctamente. Lamentablemente cuenta con solo Nanotecnología por lo que recomiendo que cualquier detalle se pongan en contacto con la garantía.
Por lo demás, si has corrido con la suerte de que has instalado todo muy bien, perfecto haz logrado el mejor pre-amp del mundo porque tiene un sonido muy natural y totalmente te conquista.
