Our guitar, bass, and ukulele teachers enjoy working with the diverse group of students here at Scottsdale School of Music. We have young children, high school students, young professionals, and retired adults visiting our studio on a weekly basis, and we have experience working with students at each level.
Even if you’ve never held a guitar or ukulele before, you’ll be amazed at how quickly you can start to make music. We can teach you some basic chords like A minor, E minor, C major, E7 and more, and you’ll have enough knowledge to chord along with popular songs. We will also introduce you to finger picking, transposing, scales, and how to play melodies while accompanying yourself.

Honestly, I wanted to play the trombone when I was in 7th grade. But, I was riding the bus to school at the time, so my mom got me a trumpet instead because it fit on the bus seat better!
