The 2x Capacitor Tone Control prewired Kit provides perfect tone control for the Strat with two capacitors. With the conventional standard circuit, only one capacitor is used for tone control, but this always means compromises. Depending on the situation, the sound is muddy or too bright, and the bridge pickup cannot be controlled at all. With this kit, that's it. The standard kit uses a 22nF cap for a brighter clear sound from the bridge pickup, and a 47 nF Capacitor for the neck and middle pickup. Changes of the capacitor values are possible free of charge, simply indicate under remarks when ordering.
This circuit would have been originally planned as a standard circuit for the Strat, but was then changed to the circuit known today (one cap less) for cost reasons. The kit can also be equipped with a treble bleed mod. The treble bleed allows you to use the volume pot over the entire bandwidth without losing the treble.
