The CGS103AII is the 3/4-scale size model of the SCHOOL Series. It features a spruce top, meranti back and sides, a nato neck and a rosewood bridge and fingerboard.

The Black Walnut wood blocks that the guitar holders are attached to are made of authentic North American hardwood that is handcrafted by local Amish.

The height-adjustable upper yoke and swiveling lower yoke fit any traditionally shaped guitar including acoustic, electric, and bass. Padding on the yokes protects the guitar's finish and a security strap on the upper yoke prevents the guitar from being bumped off the stand.

With its smaller neck and body dimensions, this instrument lies exactly between a ½ and a full-size guitar and offers perfect comfort when playing, therefore promoting pleasant and productive learning.

Thanks to its spruce top and its bottom and sides made of nato wood - which is similar to mahogany and also often used for significantly more expensive models - the sound of the guitar is balanced and dynamic. Super guitar, well made with a fine tone ,for a three quarter size. It plays remarkably well and has good action. very impressed for the price.

J'ai reçu cette guitare 3/4 yamaha dont les avis étaient plutôt bons. La guitare est jolie, elle a un bon son assez puissant, clair et homogène. Cependant je suis un peu déçu par deux points:

1) le finition n'est pas exempte de défauts, les bords de frettes ne sont pas polis correctement, ils accrochent les doigts, pour des enfants c'est dommage !!!!!

Ich habe diese 3/4 Gitarre für eine junge Schülerin besorgt, die jetzt im Alter von neun Jahren mit dem Unterricht beginnen will.

Im Bundle mit einem Gigbag und Fußbänkchen ist der Preis für eine Anfängergitarre sehr attraktiv. Vom Klang war ich aufgrund der geringeren Größe sehr positiv überrascht. Die Verarbeitung ist - wie bei Yamaha stets gewohnt - prima, wenn man von einem minimalen Leimüberschuss am Steg absieht. Mechaniken, Hals und Bünde sind sauber verarbeitet. Die Spielbarkeit ist sogar für Erwachsenenhände sehr gut.
