Durch die Lava Me 2 auf Gitarren mit eingebauten Effekten aufmerksam geworden, von ersterer allerdings enttäuscht, versuchte ich es mit der LAG. Wow. Bereits beim Auspacken positiv überrascht. Koffer mit aufwändiger Stickerei. Habe ich so weder bei meinen Taylors, noch bei meinen limited Takas gesehen.
Als erstes an die Steckdose, Akku aufladen, dann Update aufspielen. Funktioniert relativ simpel. Die zugehörige App ist super, einfach zu bedienen, läuft stabil. Die Gitarre klingt ohne jegliche Effekte schon super. Kräftig, stimmstabil, langes nachschwingen. Läßt sich sehr gut spielen, tolle Saitenlage. Was dieses HyVibe-System aber so bietet, ist der Hammer. Eigentlich wäre das meine Traumgitarre gewesen. Leider ging sie wieder zurück. Warum? Beim Spielen stellte ich fest, dass am Hals in Höhe des zweiten Bundes ziemlich in der Mitte eine Unebenheit im Holz war. Das fühlte sich an, als ob der Hals dort nicht poliert, sondern noch mit Holzfasern gespickt wäre. Ob das der Qualitätskontrolle von LAG entgangen ist? Die Gitarre war ansonsten sehr gut verarbeitet. Aber in der Preisklasse möchte ich keine B-Ware.

Mine also came with the G string buzzing across the entire fretboard, neither nor LAG could be bothered to check the guitar before sending it out. Quite annoying when you have a flight and need the guitar to go with you! This is the second time I get a guitar with fretboard problems from - not cool - even though they cover the adjustment, I still have to take the guitar on a 30km trip and waste my time getting it fixed.
The upshot: I got a guitar I couldn't use to practice to get familiar with it, I have to spend gas and time to get it to the way it should be in the first place.
The worst turd is the fact that you can't charge it with a better USB charger than their proprietary charger. I consider it a bold faced LIE to say I can charge it with USB C, but I'm stuck with one single proprietary charger!
